title: "pols vault"
description: "See your org's vault of passwords and environment variables for sandboxes"
---

<!-- Generated by scripts/reference.mjs from the pols CLI's --help. Do not edit; run `npm run reference:sync`. -->

The vault holds passwords and environment variables, encrypted, for your
sandboxes. Add, replace and delete entries at https://my.pols.so/account; values
are never shown again. Give a sandbox an entry with `pols new --secret NAME`:
it gets the value as the environment variable NAME.
